These First Grade Sight Word Sentence Cards features high frequency words from the Dolch Primer list as well as some of Fry’s first 100 words.

Each sight word card features the sight word at the top of the card. At the bottom of each card, the sight word is used and underlined in a sentence with controlled language.

First Grade Sight Word Sentence Cards

Here’s what you need to know about the cards:

• The cards come in two printable formats: 1- just read the word and sentence and 2- read then trace the sight word
• You’ll find three digital options for Google Slides: 1- Just Read it, 2- Drag & Map it, & Just Map It
• The printable cards come in three different sizes {whole page, half page, and four to a page}, ready to be printed in color or in blackline.
• 110 high frequency words are included – Primer and First Grade {from the Dolch list} as well as most from Fry’s first 100 words are included. {See the list below.}
• The phonics skills required are: CVC words, short vowel words with blends/digraphs {such as sick or must}, and less common CVCC/CCVC words like bald, walk, or old.
• As requested, EDITABLE CARDS are included in the pack, ten blank cards for each size.
• Note: The download has FOUR separate files.
• These cards also come in a digital format for Google Slides, which has the option for mapping the words.
