Self-Checking Magic e Clip Cards
Included in this pack are color AND blackline self-checking magic e clip cards for these:
1. CVCe Words for a-e, i-e, o-e, and u-e (no blends or digraphs included)
2. CCVe Words for a-e, i-e, o-e, and u-e (including words with blends or digraphs included)
These clip cards are just part of my Self-Checking Vowel Clip Cards.
3. *BONUS – CVC & CCVC clip cards that pair with long vowel words (like cap/cape). These can add an extra challenge if you mix them in with the long vowel clip cards.
4. Blackline resources for all of these above
To make these cards self-checking, be sure to open the file with the free, updated Adobe Reader. Once open, enter the page numbers you want to print. Click “print on both sides of paper”, making sure you click “flip on the short edge.” If you miss this step, the answers will be upside down.
The clip cards are arranged so that you can print just one vowel or you can mix and match them. Extend the activity by asking learners to write down or sort the words as they spell and clip them.
