Included in this pack are color AND blackline self-checking short vowel clip cards for these 3 levels:
- 40 CVC words (such as mat, pig, dog, or jet)
- 40 CCVC/CVCC words (such as shop, sled, jump, or rock)
- 40 CCVCC words (such as stuck, swish, flock, or dress)
Note: This set is a part of my Self-Checking Vowel Clip Cards Bundle!
To make them self-checking, be sure to open the file with the free, updated Adobe Reader. Once open, enter the page numbers you want to print. Click “print on both sides of paper”, making sure you click “flip on the short edge.” If you miss this step, the answers will be upside down.
The clip cards are arranged so that you can just print one vowel or you can mix and match them. Extend the activity by asking learners to write down or sort the words as they spell and clip them.
